JACK & BOULE HAS HAD A FACELIFT

After an incredible 9 months as Jack & Boule, we have decided to have a little bit of a facelift as we now officially join the Boulebar group.

WHY HAVE WE CHANGED

It may come as a surprise to some of our newer 'Jack & Boule'-ians, but we had originally only opened as a summer pop-up in 2023.​ We, of course, had hopes to stick around for longer than that... but we had no idea how life would be for a new bar in London.

​

Well, you guys blew us away with the support, love and passion you have shown for all things pétanque... so we set out to make ourselves a permanent fixture. Through a spot of good luck (or perfect timing) we met the team at Boulebar and, like in a movie, we knew we were soulmates!

​

Our UK team, venue and passion for pétanque remains exactly as it was when we were called Jack & Boule, we are now just part of a bigger family. Boulebar already had an incredible 12 venues across Sweden & Denmark, so by changing our name we are making it easier for our fans across Europe to recognise a home-from-home when they come across a Boulebar.

ABOUT BOULEBAR

The very first Boulebar opened in Sweden in 2004, but the real story starts (much) earlier when founder, Henrik Kruse, set off around Europe on an interrail adventure in the early 90s. Together with friends, Henrik discovered the game of 'boule pétanque' when they stepped into Parc Joan Miro in Barcelona and, as they say, the rest was history!

YOUR BOOKINGS

If you have a game, event or party booked with us at Jack & Boule, don't worry, it is still the same amazing team at the same amazing venue in the heart of the South Bank.

 

You should've received an email with any information you may need to know and, where possible, we have tried not to have any impact on existing bookings. The only thing that may have changed is your lane start time. All prices, packages and products will be as you have booked... or even better!
